I don't think you bench him completely, but I think you have to drop him down in the order some.

I don't think you can give him much longer. Bakich should move him way down in the lineup (like 7-9) for the mid-week game this week to see if that helps. Hitting right after Cam is not working right now. Not to mention we have plenty of outfielders that can play at a high level on both offense and defense.

Move him down. Players like Taylor won’t lose confidence during slumps. He knows how the game works. Some players need to be benched so they don’t fall into bad habits or lose all confidence. He’s not one of them. Put him in the 6 hole until he breaks out

good thing the Giants didn't bench Willie Mays when he began like 3-50. Familiarize yourself with the principle of small sample size.
